It would be nice to have some kind of map to show where you are, the land is desolate, looks all the same, and you can't tell if you're moving or not. I'm going to assume that English is not your first language because there are spelling errors and sentences that do not make sense. After a bit of exploring my "A" and "D" key did not want to work and I could only go forward or backward, so that's something to look into. Some background music would be nice.

ok, the a and d keys not working i will looking into it , i will try to fix spelling errors mini map i will try
edit cant do minimap i will do the ground will be changed sorry
done all i can do new update soon

EDIT: Your update improved gameplay and works much better now. I am confused about where the Story Mode and Endless mode is. I read the information tab and I played until I scored 250 and there was not any recognition.

Simple, yes, but not good.
The resolution for the game is off and words are cut out. I also do not think there's enough of a gap between you and the shapes dropping.

PimpleDimple responds:

thank you for your feedback. i have fixed the resolution and i will try to fix the space issue asap.
edit: i have made a new update, please consider increasing your rating!

Edit 2023: So sad to see this is never going to get a sequel but I still love this original game.

I've only played through it once but I feel that's enough to be able to tell you that this is WONDERFUL. I live and breathe point and click horror games. This atmosphere is hard to come by and I am ready to fully enjoy your game with different endings as soon as I am done writing this. You gain a backer as well.

Unrelated to the game; If you want more than a $9 donation I think It'd help to add different perks other than stars to your name in the credits.

Joenu responds:

Oh yeah! :) Thank you so much!!! You made my day!

To be honest this looks lazily put together.
It's appreciated you added a defense against the failed experiments and made the cat smaller. It's still almost impossible to evade the enemy if your'e in the enclosed space. I do like the soundtrack and I hope you make improvement in your future games!

kosmosuzuki responds:

Thank you for the feedback! Being the first game I made without aaaannny previous knowledge was fun and frustrating haha. Hopefully my next game won't look so lazily put together.

Amazing, you can even see where it loops.

OfficialBoxingwolf responds:

Hmm....That was a glitch. But yes. You can.

What an outstanding use of humor and pixels! It kept me laughing and playing all the way to the end. The dramatic zoom in on the faces added to the game for sure. I couldn't tell what was going to happen next after each little puzzle. Outstanding work!
One question, Is Puss based off of Bubsy the Cat?

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks! Ha, I noticed the Bubsy resemblance after drawing Pound. It's just the shirt; they don't look that alike without it. Surprisingly, Pound is the one with more class, as he wears pants.

Stay tuned for Pound 3D, where Pound traverses a word made entirely using the shape tool!

Assuming the ending was inserting all the floppy disks correctly, it was lackluster. Maybe that was the point of it all and if so good job. The music choice however was repetitive, it gave me a headache.
Now that the bad is out of the way; I'm glad you had a nice idea for the Ludum Dare! The Pixel art was nothing short of stunning. Given the time restraint I'd say overall it was finely done. I hope you do more pixel work!

axoona responds:

Thank's! :)

Nothing short of nothing.
